AMAZON REVIEW: Pur Water Pitcher Filtration System

The “PUR Water Pitcher Filtration System, 7 Cup, Clear/Blue” is $16.99 on Amazon.  I guarantee you won’t want to spend $16.99 on a product that might be garbage.  So, you will probably read a review (and maybe write one after purchase).  Luckily it has 1,295 reviews.

“The water is so fresh and clear, and I know I’m ridiculously sensitive to the flavor of water but I mean it when I say that this is probably the purest, cleanest flavor of water I’ve ever had. Better than a lot of bottled water, so I’m happy with this purchase.”  But you should probably be careful of the lid pouring too much, many reviewers have said it’s an issue.

AIRBNB REVIEW:  Cocoa Beach Vacation Rental

If you would like to take the family to the Kennedy Space Center and beach, you might want to check out Airbnb.  A 4BR/4B En Suites-Steps to Beach-Food/Bars/Shopping will run you $225 a night.  However, a bad vacation rental could cost you at least hundreds of dollars and ruin your family vacation.  I would recommend reading the reviews, where you can be reassured “The house was perfect and in a great location! Steps from the beach and short walk to the famous pier and shops/restaurants. It was spacious, very clean, well stocked and tastefully decorated. So many amenities were included such as a garage full of bikes, beach chairs, wagons, boogies boards & toys. Wonderful stay! Great hosts! Highly recommend!”

STYLE SEAT REVIEWS:  Trepka, Hairstylist

Need to get your hair fixed up?  A bad color job could cost you up to $300 for the initial appointment and then any follow-up corrective appointments, no one wants to go through that headache (or heartache of messed up hair.). Thank goodness for the recommendations of friends and new neighbors!  I heard good things about Trepka Ilieva, but thankfully StyleSeat posts reviews, and she has 618 of them.  Before I gamble with my hair and a few hundred dollars, much like everyone else, I will read a few of those 618 reviews to find “Not only is she great company, she is kind and talented.”

Those “Other” Reviews

The national median of rent in April 2022 was $1827.  For a traditional 12 month lease that equal $21,924, plus security deposits, utility hookups, moving affiliated costs.  For the average American who rents, their rent will be their biggest cost during the year.  If you have a terrible rental, you could incur additional costs for breaking your lease, an additional move, and worst case – legal fees.

If you have amazon prime, which 163 million of us in the U.S. do, then you have likely read a review this week before spending less that $100.  However, when it comes to writing a $21,924 check, we still aren’t reading reviews.  Why?
